My name is Samuel Price. I am a paper collage artist from San Francisco and am best known for my unique custom dog portraits. After more than 15 years of working as a collage artist, I still enjoy the process of working with clients to create these intricate and personal portraits by hand. Each canvas contains hundreds of tiny magazine squares, and is based on the photographs that you provide. I enjoy working with my clients personally and love the experience of seeing a new piece of artwork find a fitting place in a new home.

MDC art studio is nestled in the Outer Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco (near the beach) where I live with my wife and three kids. Each year, I make a number of custom collage portrait donations to animal charities I admire. It is my way of saying thank you to the community who has helped these animals and need support. I wish I could do more - but my art is my way of giving back in a humble way.

My dog portrait collages have been featured at some of the Bay Area’s largest art events including the Sausalito Art Festival, Kings Mountain Art Festival, Menlo Charity Horse Show, Anne and Mark’s Art Party and many others.
